The
Art of Giving
"Caressing
the pile of soft fleece blankets that have arrived at the office of
'Baby Buggy', Jessica Seinfeld smiles with satisfaction. 'This
is great,' she says, pulling out a bright blue blanket with stitched
yellow stars and moons. 'Somehow, we always manage to get a new supply
just when we need it.' - Jessica is seen here in Avenue Magazine with
some of the blankets we have donated to her non-profit organization,
"Baby Buggy."
(Her son Julian has a 'GoGo' blanket of his very own. )
Popping Up Like Pansies
Child magazine called our 'Mary Mary' blanket the "perfect
present" and our 'Star Spangled' blanket appeared in Town
& Country in a patriotic merchandise roundup.
Star-Gazing
At an Estyle event in New York, Lyerly Peniston, founder of Little Moonjumper,
gave Cindy Crawford a 'Belle Fleur' blanket for
her new daughter Kaia. Now both of Cindy's children have Little Moonjumper
blankets, which they all love! In addition to Cindy, other celebrities
who have Little Moonjumper blankets for their little stars include Tea
Leoni & David Duchovny, Josie Bisset, Billy Baldwin & Chynna Phillips,
Vanessa Williams, Warren Beatty & Annette Bening, Chris Rock, Pete Sampras,
Jerry Seinfeld, Kelly Ripa, Ben Stiller & Christine Taylor and Matt
Lauer . {Lyerly (left) is shown here with Laurie McCartney,
founder and CEO of estyle.com, and Cindy Crawford.}
To
Honor Their Memory
After a close friend lost both her husband and brother in the attack
on the World Trade Center on September 11th, we created the 'Star
Spangled' blanket to honor their memory and to help the victims
of the tragedy. Through the sale of this special blanket, Little Moonjumper
donated over $500 to the NYTimes 911 Fund in 2001.
